NUBE Pilates and LOVJOY offer different ways to practise Pilates in Québec City. NUBE is an in-person studio with Reformer, mat, barre and yoga classes. LOVJOY offers live, mat-based online classes over Zoom, plus separate private and in-person Reformer options. This guide compares the formats, prices and practical trade-offs so you can choose what fits.
Disclosure: LOVJOY is my business. This is a practical comparison based on publicly available information, not an independent review of NUBE Pilates. NUBE and LOVJOY prices and terms below were checked on September 12, 2026 and may change. Confirm current details before booking.
There is no universal winner. The best option is the one you can attend consistently and the format that matches the feedback and equipment you want.

Where LOVJOY is different
LOVJOY’s online group classes are live over Zoom and mat-based. The current online product lists a $10 single class, $59.99 monthly unlimited, $179.97 for three months and $599.99 yearly. Classes are scheduled and instructor-led. Online feedback is real-time, but it depends on camera position, lighting, class size and what the instructor can see, so it is not identical to hands-on in-studio instruction.
Private 30-minute Zoom sessions are listed at $52, and 60-minute private Zoom sessions are listed at $81.60. In-person Reformer sessions are available in Québec City, with multiple locations on request in St-Foy and Charlesbourg. Ask for current availability and location when booking.

When NUBE may be the better fit
Choose NUBE if you want a physical studio, Reformer equipment and its class schedule. It is also the straightforward choice if you prefer to practise in a shared room at a defined Québec City location.
When live online may be the better fit
Choose LOVJOY if you want a scheduled mat class without the commute, or if live online access is easier to fit around home and work. Online feedback is real-time but limited by your camera view. If you need equipment work or hands-on adjustments, book an in-person or private session instead.
The honest bottom line
A studio class and a live online class can both be legitimate coaching. NUBE is the clearer fit for Reformer equipment and a physical studio. LOVJOY is the clearer fit for live mat coaching from home. Compare the current terms, choose the format you will attend, and ask questions about any health concern before starting.
